Meatloaf - You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth

First off, a special thank-you to my sister for giving me my very first vinyl LP to call my own : Meatloaf - Bat out of Hell. Thanks sis ! Although this wasn't one of the earliest "ones that started it all" left over from the basement, it came at a very pivotal time. Actually, I was getting older and needed to start figuring things out for myself. If she hadn't given me this album, I might have just aimlessly wandered off into nothingness. This thing was a masterpiece. It was way over the top, but not too far to the point of being totally ridiculous. A compilation of hugely talented people pulling together all the right elements that can still be commercially successful. Between this, Styx, and Rush (and many others), there was no question; I was definitely pursuing music. Probably a good thing, who knows where I might have ended up otherwise.
